Make Music Day @ City of Liberty, MO

The city of Liberty co-sponsors Make Music Day! This all-day event is a national event and hundreds of cities across the country participate. Music is everywhere. The Kansas City Ukulele Alliance will be on stage in an open mic format at the Presbyterian Church from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Please join us!

Ukes on the Roof @ Kansas City Central Library

The Ukes on the Roof meeting is a wonderful venue located in the heart of historical downtown Kansas City meeting on the 5th floor of the library. This small group meets for only an hour and is a perfect meeting for beginners who want to start playing with and meeting other ukulele players. Refreshments are always served!

The ukulele was one of the most popular musical instruments of the 1920’s and every year the Kansas City Ukesters make it their business to enlighten us on the high merits of its sound.  Annual concerts at the Museum’s Bandstand wouldn’t be complete without their refreshing renditions of popular music of the 20’s.  Bring your lawn chairs and picnic dinner!  Light refreshments provided.

Join us at Crows Coffee Waldo on the second and fourth Friday of every month for a laid-back open mic night, hosted by Mark’s Music. Each event opens with a special performance by a local or visiting artist, then you’re welcome to step up to the mic and show us what you’ve got (or just sit back and listen!).
